An elevator pitch is nothing but a sales pitch where you pitch your business to a potential investor in less than 30 seconds.
You bump into an investor in the elevator, and before you get out of the elevator, you should have got the investor interested in your project. That’s the philosophy behind the elevator pitch.
The elevator pitch should help create enough interest in your project for the investor to call you for a meeting with him where you can discuss your project in more detail.
