As mentioned in my previous post, I went through Tim Young’s article on raising capital and I worked on my investor presentation. I believe presentation is very important. I would have liked to share the new slides that I have made here on this platform but some of the information may be confidential and so I am not sure if I should make them public yet.
My slides are NOT a cut and paste of Tim Young’s template, I have used Tim’s template more as a pointer rather than a replica.
The basic philosophy behind my investor presentation is:
1. Tell a story. Your powerpoint slides should tell a story.
2. Use images to tell a story rather than plain text. This was one of the flaws in my presentation, I used mostly text rather than images to tell my story.
Just incorporating the above pointers can bring about a dramatic change in your investor presentation.
